A private wellness and reading room, designed as a quiet counterweight to a full life: yours, ten steps from the back door.
Acoustic calm
Full wall, floor and ceiling insulation for a room that feels genuinely separate from the household noise.
Warm natural materials
Natural timber flooring and cladding chosen for tone and texture, not just appearance.
Garden-facing glazing
Positioned and glazed to frame the garden as the view, not the fence line.
Feature lighting
Layered LED lighting that shifts from bright and functional to low and restful.
Built in Perth
Designed and built by local craftsmen.
Backed by Experience
A JB Bespoke Carpentry & Joinery studio brand.
Not every room needs a function. The Retreat is built for the opposite of productivity: a still, considered space for reading, meditation, or simply being somewhere that isn't the rest of the house.
Soft natural light, warm timber tones, and a hushed acoustic envelope make it feel like a small architectural exhale at the bottom of the garden.
Ideal For
- A dedicated meditation, yoga or reading room
- Homeowners who want a genuine mental reset space
- Multi-generational households needing a quiet retreat
